Here’s what you will need to make it

How to make strawberry apple crumble
For the apple strawberry fruit filling
Prep the fruit. Remove the strawberry stems and slice them in half. Peel, core and slice the apples. I recommend slicing them into old school wedges, this makes them about the same size as the strawberries when they are slices vertically in half. Toss into a large mixing bowl.
Sprinkle remaining filling ingredients over the fruit. Stir to combine, making sure everything is distributed evenly. Allow the fruit to macerate while you make the crumb topping.
For the crumble topping
Whisk together the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. Cut butter into mixture until marble size crumbs form. If you do not have a pastry cutter, use a nice large fork or even your fingers.
Assemble and bake the apple strawberry crumble
Pour fruit into glass baking dish. Sprinkle crumb topping over fruit. You do not have to use all of the topping. Make sure you can still see some fruit through the crumbs.
Bake at 350˚F for 20-25 minutes, or until crumb topping is golden and fruit is bubbling around the edges. Allow to fully cool before serving.

APPLE STRAWBERRY CRUMBLE TIPS
Make sure you don’t overheat or over cook the apple strawberry crumble. If you leave it in the oven too long the fruit will breakdown and soften too much leaving you with a soggy mess. Also, if the crumble topping is baked at too high of a temperature it will melt into the fruit too much which will prevent it from crisping up properly.
The crumb topping should be sporadically placed over the fruit topping, since it will spread as it baked. Marble size pieces are perfect for it to melt just slightly into the top of the fruit.
I prefer to have a ratio of 3 parts fruit to 1 part crumble, or about 25% crumb topping. Even though the topping is my favorite part, if you go overboard it will strangle the fruit.
