Apple and Strawberry Crumble

This apple and strawberry crumble features summer strawberries and fresh, tart apples baked under a buttery, golden crumb topping. It’s the perfect combination of gooey sweetness and crispy crumbles. Plus, it’s a simple recipe you can make anytime!




  • 1 pint strawberries, sliced
  • 4 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg

For the topping:

  • ¾ cup flour
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¾ cup butter
  • ¼ tsp salt


  1. Preheat oven to 350˚F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine strawberries and apples.
  3. Pour lemon juice, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and nutmeg over fruit and stir well. Spread into 8×8 inch baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, brown sugar and salt.
  5. Cut butter into flour mixture until large crumbs form.
  6. Sprinkle topping over fruit in baking dish.
  7. Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes or until apples are tender.
