How to make this German meatloaf

You will want to start by gathering all of the ingredients and a large mixing bowl. Preheat your oven to 375˚F so it is ready when you have the meatloaf mixed up.

Dice your onion and toss it into the bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and mix with your hands to combine. You do not want to over mix or compress the meat too much or your meatloaf will turn out tough.

When you have everything mixed well. Place your meat mixture into a greased loaf pan and compress to form to the loaf pan. You can also make your meatloaf into a loaf form and bake it on a baking sheet.

Bake for 55-60 minutes. Check the internal temperature when you remove it from the oven to make sure it has reached 165˚F. Allow the meatloaf to rest before you slice, this helps prevent the meatloaf from falling apart and helps the juices reabsorb.
